About Me

My name is Josh Barkosky and I am a third year bachelors of architecture student at Arizona State University.

Architecture has always been my passion, and it was a title I saw in my future from a young age. Architects have a wide variety of knowledge and skills, but to create a beautiful, efficient, and functional space is something only an architect can do. Creating these spaces is a given as a future architect.

Through my education I have learned an immeasurable amount about the field and the people in it.

Community College gave me a very personal and direct experience of the industry where I learned many of the hard skills designers need.

University so far has opened my eyes to the complex theory-based side of the industry where I have been working closely with a group designing our way through the semester.

Both experiences have solidified my desire to pursue architecture and I cannot wait to see where I can go next with it.
